Ensemble Corelli E' nato dalla omonima orchestra di Mandolini e Chitarre che è stata fondata a Concesio nel 1977 e che ha tenuto concerti in Italia, Francia, Polonia e Belgio partecipando inoltre a festival e concorsi internazionali. È formato da musicisti che sono stati allievi della omonima Accademia con anni di studio e specializzazione. Il timbro particolare di questi strumenti ed il carattere delle musiche originali ed in trascrizioni conferiscono alle esecuzioni di questo Ensemble una atmosfera di estrazione popolare ma pur sempre di grande poesia e di gradevole ascolto. In repertorio musiche di Neusidler, Roeser, Vivaldi, Giuliano, Calace, Sartori, Ritter, Joplin, Althoff, Schwaen, Walter ed altri. The Consort is made up of musicians who, as past pupils of the Corelli Academy, have devoted years of study to their chosen speciality. The distinctive timbre of their instruments and the characteristics of the music, itself, whether originally composed or later transcribed for them, enables the Consort in its performances to convey a sense both of the popular origin of such pleasant sounds and the resonance of their underlying poetry. In the repertoire of the Consort are included works by Neusidler, Roeser, Vivaldi, Giuliano, Sartori, Ritter, Joplin, Althoff, Schwaen, Walter and others.
